Hey guys, this is just a little mod I made for myself and decided to share with everyone on the workshop. Personally, I feel that the vanilla democratic tree for Japan is terrible and boring. You spend the entire time shooting yourself in the foot: you lose your best generals, you have to do a civil war that wastes a lot of manpower, and you lose Korea and your puppets on the mainland. This mod aims to correct these issues I have with the tree.

What does this mod do?
- When you complete the national focus "Preemptive Coup", there is no longer a civil war, you keep all your generals, you keep control of Korea, and your puppets do not break away (they also change to democratic ideology along with you). The requirement to start the focus is to have 40% democratic support, instead of just 30%.
-The national focus "Purge the Militarists" no longer gives the Militarism national spirit to Manchukuo and you are given a 10% stability boost.
-A new sub-branch for the democratic tree is added, with its first national focus, "Imperialism", being mutually exclusive with the vanilla focus "Pacific Guardian". The Imperialism sub-branch lets you eventually annex Manchukuo and Menjiang and gain cores on them (plus Korea) when you have reached 60% compliance in all of their states. There are also a couple focuses that will give you wargoals against the Chinese Warlords and the Soviet Union.
-9 industry focuses have been added that are available for all of Japan's paths. Completing them all nets you 6 civilian factories, 6 military factories, and 9 infrastructure.
I may expand the mod and tweak it a bit in the future, but I'm considering this a finished mod, so what you see is probably all you will get. I do hope you all enjoy!
