Hello and welcome back to the Empire Mod created by DefinitilyNotStalin and updated by me, Emperor. As some of you may know, the previous version of the mod is outdated and was not updated to BBA, as the main developer (DefinitilyNotStalin/Leander/Lizard) went offline and did not continue working on the mod. This is the official continuation of the Empire mod.

The Empire mod is a mod set around the events of the early 18th century, starting in 1699. In this mod you will be able to experience interesting scenarios, such as the War of the Spanish Succession and the Great Northern War, famous for the legendary campaigns of Charles XII, otherwise known as Carolus Rex. While the combat of HOI4 would normally not make a lot of sense for a scenario in the early 1700s, the mod aims to bring a genuine ancient regime feel to the game, introducing new technologies, hundreds of unique portraits, a dozen new focus trees and many other events and national spirits.

Features:

• A reworked map of the world set in 1699

• Hundreds of unique leaders and portraits

• A unique scenario centering around the Great Northern War and the Spanish Succession War

• An estate and absolutism system and a reworked ideology chart

• New events, decisions, advisors, and national spirits

• Hundreds of new focus icons

• Focus trees for all major European powers

• Focus trees for several minor nations

• Re-textured and reworked tech tree

Fixes and New Content since 0.6.4:

• New Dzungar focus tree

• Reworked France and Safavids (Persia) focus tree

• Several new countries and map changes

• New techs, portraits, and GFX

• Reworks to resources, especially grain

• Several bugfixes

Upcoming Changes:

• Johor or Horde nations focus trees

• Sweden rework

• Fixing bugs and balance changes

• Adding even more icons and GFX

• New technologies to research, especially cavalry!

** The mod is still a work in progress, focus trees aren't completed, gfx is missing, and bugs will be present. I reiterate: the mod is in no way complete. I will continue to work on it, so please be patient. **
