The Setting

On Earth (hoi)4, our heroes emerge just in time to partake in WWII. Critical is their arrival as the world is on the brink of total war!

In the year 1936 the world is grappling with the existence of superhumans and the rise of vigilantism. Superman will established himself as the protector of Metropolis and Batman the protector of Gotham. Some see these new 'heroes' as existential threats, others see them as the USA's greatest protectors. Lex Luthor, the leader of the American Silver Legion has thrust himself into the spotlight as the biggest detractor of these vigilantes.

It is up to the player to decide who to trust.

Features

• When playing as the United States, dynamic events and decisions will unfold allowing the player to shape the political landscape around these heroes, but be warned, not everyone will like the decisions you make. The player will have the choice during SPOLIER whether or not they want to play as the heroes or the villains. A plethora of DC characters are available to be used by the player either way.

• The fictional nations of the DC universe are now in HOI4. This includes Themyscira (with custom focus tree), Bialya, Corto Maltese, Jarhanpur, Kahndaq, Markovia, Pokolistan, Qurac, Santa Prisca, Vlatava and Zambesi...plus a few more that will show up dynamically through scripted events.

• There are a plethora of custom events from a breakout at Arkham to the formation of the JSA and many more.

• There are many characters from DC comics included in this mod as generals, advisors, country leaders or in hybrid roles. I plan on adding more in future updates! Drop your suggestions in the comments.

• Most all portraits feature art from the legendary Alex Ross.

• Metropolis, Gotham and many other fictional cities of DC are represented on the map.
