GDU in short:

Gotterdammerung or GDU is one of the oldest Competitive HOI4 Overhauls with focus on Balancing and Competitive Gameplay. GDU is all about high production, even higher losses, extremly strong air and cooperation between all unit types.

GDU features:

• Optimization, 1944 game can be played in just 5 hours.

• Overhauled focus trees for all countries.

• Deleted Spanish Civil War and War in China to make the mod less RNG dependent and faster. All countries have preset generals and admirals to avoid grinding.

• Extensive, perhaps the best Ost-Front in entire competitive HOi4 Community, with Strategic Operations, Extensive Air war, millions of losses and dreadfull Russian Winter.

• Strong and fun to play minors.

• Reworked Africa + added Africa Score to encourage fights for africa.

• Fully balanced No-Asia scenario.

• Fully balanced Mini-GDU scenario/decision when there are not enough minors but all majors are filled.

• Researchable doctrines, all countries get research slot to compensate this.

• Quality of Life (40w, templates are free, events when new tank/plane is available to research, in game guides)
