Gloria Rising [Trans Grover EaW submod]

SUMMARY

Inspired by the recurring meme in the Equestria at War community Gloria Rising aims to present a realistic take on what would happen if Grover VI of Griffonstone suffered from gender dysphoria, while remaining as respectful as possible to the transgender community and Grover's character in EaW. Each regent listed under childhood paths is unique in their content, with most having an emphasis on player choice.

Angriver (1011): NEW Hera Eichberg (Social Democrats)

Greifenmarschen (1012): Archibald Dawnfeather (Harmonist, Equestrian Model only, endings based on the fate of Equestria)

Yale (1013): Grover II

Other (1011): Generic/shared path for all other possible regents BRONZEHILL EXCLUDED until I can get around to adding compatibility to the new content

Since starting the mod I have begun work on Equestria at War as an official developer rather than a submodder. While I am still making progress on Gloria, updates will be slower than they were before.

WHY

I often see people asking why I made this mod. The answer is pretty simple: I thought the trans Grover meme was funny given how upset it made anti-LGBT players, and to my knowledge no one else had done it before. Sure there are other reasons, but that was maybe 70% of it. The other 30% was your typical "I'm trans and want to see trans people represented in this thing I like" and "Oh this sounds like a fun little side project".

Please send any and all found bugs that you believe to be in part caused by Gloria Rising to the team secretary theamazingninjawolf on Discord.

CW: Mentions of dark subjects including suicide and assault. See spoiler below for details on avoiding these.

Mentions of both sensitive subjects are limited in scope and intensity, and are both easily missed in playthroughs of this mod. If this is a serious concern, ignore the event titled "Hopelessness" with the image of autumn trees that may fire circa 1019. Mentions of assault are less intense and are referenced in part of an event chain with the depiction/references beginning in the event "Like Divine Intervention" (no image) that may fire circa 1017. These events are both easily missable by player actions, so please do not let them deter you.

In addition starting and ending Grover II's path being unsupportive will fire a similar event.
