Antarctica Map Template replaces the world map with a geographically accurate rendition of the Antarctic continent. Designed by Generalis and Edouard_Saladier, this template allows modders to build unique scenarios, alt-history campaigns, or scientific simulations upon a high-fidelity foundation.

Features

This template provides a "blank canvas" with the difficult terrain work already completed:

• Geographical Fidelity: Accurate coastline and topography derived from real-world data.

• Political Claims: Includes basic divisions for historical national claims to Antarctic territory.

• Terrain Configuration:

  • distinct definitions for land, sea, and ice shelves.

  • Dev Note: Deep ice sheets are implemented as impassable states using the marsh texture. Combined with a white color overlay, this simulates ocean ice/deep snow while retaining engine functionality.

Licensing

The map resource is owned by Generalis. Reuse is permitted with proper crediting and a reference to this exact mod.
