New Fighter Icon Series - England
Tired of creating your brand new Spitfire variant only to have to use that same old default icon? Well, not anymore! This mod adds many new light fighter icons for England, including: Hurricane, Spitfire (including the Mk.IX and XIV), Tempest, Fury, Seafire, and several more.
It has always bothered me that I have to use the same exact icon whenever I create a new variant of my aircraft. This is especially true for fighter aircraft since they are the most likely to get modified with new tech to stay ahead of opponents. I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and I finally got around to doing it. I uploaded it so everyone can enjoy!
I've also shrunk the size of some of the standard fighter icons that came with the game to bring them in line with the other icons, and I added more color and contrast to make them more vibrant.
Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with most any mod.
- 'New Fighter Icon Series' mods will now work concurrently with one another (e.g. enabling England and Germany at the same time).
Thanks to the awesome advice of Ben_D, I was able to increase the compatibility of this mod, not only with other mods in the series, but it should be compatible with most other mods as well!
*This mod requires the By Blood Alone DLC
Future Plans
My goal is to eventually make a set for all of the major nations. I may be open to requests for specific planes (fighter planes only). This is my first pass for England, so I will probably add more to the England set. Please note this is just a hobby for me, and I do this out of fun and leisure time (i.e. please do not harass me to get your request done ASAP).
