Welcome to FFU 2 / WW1 Multiplayer Rebalanced. Updated to latest version! Why the "2" in FFU 2?

FFU 2 is a mod that picks up the work of Frenchie, the creator of FFU, who unfortunately had to halt his work on the mod for over two years now. We have continued and modified his mod in a way that seemed fairest to us, and balance it to the fullest for enjoyable multiplayer lobbies. ————- What is FFU?

FFU aims to be the reference mod for WW1 lobbies in multiplayer. We want to build upon the foundations left by Frenchie, a mod inspired by others like PMFU or OAK but focused on a period that doesn't have the same visibility as its counterpart. Unlike Oaks, we aim to make it complete like Oaks but much more accessible to players of any skill level, allowing anyone to pick a country and have fun even with a skill level close to that of FanIV (I'll never forget what you did in German coop). ——————- Is the goal to compete with a mod like The Great War Redux?

Absolutely not. The TGW Redux mod is designed for solo play, and we respect that. They have done an immense amount of work, and we recommend playing their mod. However, our mod, as mentioned earlier, is primarily and almost exclusively designed for multiplayer lobbies. ——————— Is it another boring WW1 mod where nothing happens?

Absolutely not. Some division compositions are very challenging to stop at a very high construction cost. Our goal is not to create a mod perfectly in line with history. That's why we allow divisions capable of advancing through the masses to prioritize gameplay over historical accuracy. ——————- Okay, now that I've been tempted by your mod, where can I play it in multiplayer?

Firstly, we recommend taking a look at our rule set on our Discord. Once that's done, you can organize a game with friends or join us on our Discord.
