At Dogger Bank, the British fleet lost its edge. On January 24, 1915, the Royal Navy suffered defeat. From then on, the world was never the same.

The Weltkrieg ended — but the world still burns. The Reds triumphed in the civil war, yet Kamenev’s heart falters. Britain staggers into the 1936 election, chaos lurking beneath. Austria-Hungary clings to its fragile empire, desperate to delay the inevitable.

Across the Atlantic, Roosevelt rises despite polio. But defeat shadows America like a ghost. In China, the First Northern Expedition succeeded, the Second collapsed into stalemate.

France bleeds nationalism from the wounds of defeat. Jacques Doriot rallies the nation. He vows to stop at nothing — not even blood — to restore France’s place among the great powers.

The world of 1936 looks stable. But its foundations rot. And the Second Weltkrieg looms on the horizon.

Are these fears but whispers of paranoia?

Or the overture to the world’s final catastrophe?
