The Soggy Order: Last Days of Goog

The year is 1962, and The Scramble for Antarctica begins as the Sogging War grows ever wetter..

Antarctica. The Exiled Continent, where no bathtubs lie. A frozen desert totally hostile to feline life, yet it lies so open and welcoming for all those who bath. All taps and faucets lie slammed open, amidst the decrepency of the dead continent; the question of who remains soggy or dry is yet to be seen…

The Greater Googmanic Reich rose from depths of the bathwater as the unquestioned washer of Europe after its innumerable victories amidst the great sogging. ‘Googseig' was, at the cost of innumerable innocent dry cats, achieved - yet only soggyness. The Reich's grand ambitions to sog the entire feline population lie dusty and incomplete, its innumerable failures permeate into each white porcelain bathtub it encounters, for everyday, it’s inhabitants are asked, life or bath?

United under the banner of the Sog-Prosperity Sphere, East Asia is reduced to a wet shrivelling ball of a creature in forced subservience to its new master: the Empire of Japan. The Faucet opener shines from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean, celebrating itself as the master of all felines victor over the dry-kind. Yet there is resistance against them, diligently working and growing, waiting for the right moment to strike. Baptized in the hydrating waterfalls underneath the tap, stands the last hope - the United States, humiliated and shaken to its very core in the great sogging, has taken it up to itself to fight for freedom in this wet world. But while its government schemes against the Goog’s legacy, more and more of its people resent its internal chaos and segregation. The fight is decided at home, and could change everything.

The Mediterranean wrestled itself from the bathers' waning grip, forging a fragile Triumvirate. The Iberian Union teeters between wetness and dryness, the Kingdom of Italy struggles to maintain its googist dominion amidst calls for the eternal hairdryer, and the Republic of Turkey sit underneath many yet opened faucets. What happens past Hercules' Pillars could change the fate of the world.

The Russian cat has broken and fights itself. One thing unites the pieces - a burning desire for the faucets to be shut, sealed off for eternity. What this vision might be is up to them; but no matter what it is, it is inevitable. For the soggers and soggees are locked in a never-ending fight, and only destiny knows their fate.

Who will be the victor in this world of sogging and drying?
