What the mod is About

this is a revived mod of the old mod called Napoleonic Wars 1792-1815 it has not been updated in like 2 years. the mod will take place in 1792 and will end in 1815. the mod will have new focus's new leaders this is a new overhaul of hoi4.The Napoleonic Wars lasted for 23 years, beginning with the coalitions of European monarchies determined to destroy Revolutionary France and restore the king. From 1792 onward, France fought for survival.

In 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte staged a coup against the French Directory and became First Consul of France. The monarchies of Europe tried once again to crush the Republic, but Napoleon defeated the Second Coalition. After surviving an assassination attempt, he consolidated his power and in 1804 declared himself Emperor of the French.

The monarchies united a third time, but in 1805 Napoleon won a stunning victory over Austria and Russia at the Battle of Austerlitz, destroying the Third Coalition. Only a year later, Prussia challenged him, forming the Fourth Coalition. Napoleon crushed the Prussians at Jena–Auerstedt, and by 1808 France dominated much of Europe.

That same year, however, Napoleon invaded Spain, expecting a swift victory. Instead, he found himself bogged down in a brutal guerrilla war supported by Britain — a conflict that would drain French resources for years.

In 1812, relations with Russia collapsed. Napoleon gathered the largest army Europe had ever seen and invaded. He marched into Moscow, but the Russians burned the city. With no supplies and winter closing in, Napoleon was forced to retreat. His army was nearly destroyed.

Sensing weakness, France’s enemies rallied. The Sixth Coalition united nearly all of Europe against him. In 1813, Napoleon suffered a crushing defeat at the Battle of Leipzig, the “Battle of Nations.” By 1814, the Allies marched into France; Paris fell, and Napoleon was forced to abdicate. He was exiled to the island of Elba.

But only ten months later, Napoleon escaped. He returned to France, rallied his army, and drove the king into exile. Thus began the Hundred Days Campaign. Napoleon advanced toward Brussels, but on June 18, 1815, at the Battle of Waterloo, he was finally defeated by the Duke of Wellington and the Prussians under Blücher. Forced to abdicate a second time, Napoleon was exiled to the distant island of St. Helena, where he would spend the rest of his life until his death in 1821.
