15.09.2026 What About the Beta Update?

“The Witcher: Time of Sword and Axe – Beta Version” is currently in the final stages of development.

What will the beta include?

• New focus trees for different countries
• New GUI
• A completely new technology tree
• A bigger focus on gameplay – the biggest difference between the alpha and beta will be that the beta will give you much more to do and allow you to enjoy the game through many different paths.
• New original mechanics
• And much more!

When will the update be released?

Unfortunately, we currently don't have enough people working on graphics. Because of this, we first need to finish the missing graphical files before we can announce a release date. That's why we're currently looking for people who have experience with graphic programs such as GIMP or Paint.NET. 06.12.2025 - We have finally released the long-awaited update!

This is the ALPHA version, meant strictly for catching bugs and polishing the mod before the full release. Expect smaller updates from time to time — roughly every week — mainly focused on fixes and minor improvements rather than massive new content.

Please keep in mind that the ALPHA is currently available only in English.

This version should be working fine above 1.16
