Anozin's USA Reimagined

Anozin's USA Reimagined is a focus tree overhaul mod for the United States of America which also aims to provide a better and more enjoyable experience for players in Hearts of Iron IV. The mod addresses gaps in power scaling that have left the US behind in recent years, it adds in new political and military advisors from the war, it adjusts starting values, production lines, buildings and resources and more, and it makes plenty of balance adjustments to improve the US.

Most notably, this mod completely overhauls the Focus Tree for the United States, which now has over 400+ unique focuses. It is intentionally designed to be larger than can be finished in a single regular session, emphasizing that players have to prioritize what elements of their country they want to work on and improve. The tree features a broad selection of paths for both internal and external interaction, an automatic economy recovery system, powerful trees for the army, navy, air force (army air corps), industry, science / MIOs, government, and diplomacy, and way more.

The trees are designed so that a player can remedy the problems the US faces at the time and then can work to steadily improve all aspects of the country, or the US player can focus down on one or two specific areas of development and drastically improve those fields at the expense of the other ones.

In general, this mod fixes America's position in the current power-scaled game state, provides fun and interesting things to work on for the player before the war kicks off instead of just waiting around for 5 years, makes the US feel like it should as a sort of final boss for the Allies, and provides the world's most industrious democracy a slew of new options for expansion and growth that were either entirely absent or tediously gated in Vanilla. Additionally, there is also a nationalist communist path that offers either a calm and peaceful transition of power or an aggressive civil war that can change the ideological balance of power in the world.

Graphics for spirits and focuses from other mods are used and listed out specifically in the mod files. The mod does not alter the map and has been redesigned to be friendly and compatible with most other mods!

This is my first full-scale mod and it took me well over 600+ hours of work to complete. My hope is that this mod can improve the game experience for players who wished the US had a little more to offer.
