The year is 1962, and Reichskommissariat Kaukasien is slowly collapsing from within.

Satisfaction of the natives is surprisingly high no matter where you go to in the colony. In one of the most volatile regions in Eastern Europe, the Reich has mastered its leash to keep the façade running.

The colony is currently led by Fritz Bracht, however in recent years there have been signs that there has been a claim to his title. Konstantin Kammerhofer and the SS Clique seeks to overthrow Bracht and lead Caucasia on their own terms, regardless of the outcome of this secret power struggle, whoever manages to win, through war or peace, will decide the direction of the Reichskommissariat for the foreseeable future.

Underneath the mask of a stable and functioning system is a rot that is the National Committees. For them, the Reich promised autonomy and prosperity under the roof of the Reichskommissariat and observed them from afar. However, the secret power struggle has reached the Committees, and some members start to deviate from their loyalties.

The future for the land and the people it holds looks uncertain. Will you break their chains and let them live for tomorrow or let them fall back into the abyss of oppression? The decision of what happens to the Mountains of Caucasia will ultimately fall on you.
