Formerly one of the most popular submods: Millennium Dawn: Director’s Cut. Now a standalone project. “Millennium: Damaged Continuum” grew out of a desire to make the modern world in HoI4 truly deep, unpredictable, and vibrant. We worked very hard to explore all the important aspects of the modern era in the game.

Chaos as the Head Writer

Forget about scripted storylines and predetermined outcomes. In Damaged Continuum, the world is constantly teetering on the brink, and your decisions and random events set off chains of consequences that are impossible to predict in advance.

• No two games will be alike.

• Yesterday’s outcast can become a superpower, while a hegemonic power may collapse in just a couple of years.

Beta Version: What’s Already Been Implemented

At the start of the open beta test, you’ll find several countries and regions that have been thoroughly developed:

• Syria - Civil war in all its glory. Unique paths for all key parties to the conflict: government forces, rebels, Kurdish groups, and radical factions.

• Portugal – A country that appears peaceful at first glance, but faces complex economic challenges, internal political strife, and nostalgia for its former imperial glory.

• Russia — A revitalized giant with a renewed domestic policy, ambitious development goals, and the ability to influence its immediate neighbors.

• Chechnya and Abkhazia – Unrecognized states with their own ambitions and the potential to radically alter the balance of power in the Caucasus.

• Monadir militants – A new hotbed of instability. Experience asymmetric warfare from a completely different perspective.

The Battle for the Arctic

We have established the Arctic as a full-fledged arena of global competition. The high latitudes are no longer a lifeless wasteland—they are a region where the interests of the great powers converge.

The Arctic Council is a functioning diplomatic forum with its own procedures, voting mechanisms, and the ability to block or advance decisions.

The Struggle for Resources — oil, gas, biological resources, and control over strategic transportation routes are becoming sources of political pressure and direct conflict.

Full Release: The American Dream in Action

In the final version of the mod, the United States of America will take center stage—the most detailed political simulation possible.

• A huge pool of potential presidents - Choose from dozens of real and hypothetical candidates, each with their own unique qualities.

• An authentic electoral system - Primaries, debates, and decisive “November Tuesdays.”

“Millennium: Damaged Continuum” doesn’t hold your hand. It gives you the tools, a detailed world, and endless room for experimentation. Whether you’ll be the architect of a new world order or the architect of its destruction—that’s up to you.

Expected Issues: The animated menu may not be compatible with resolutions higher than 1920x1080; this does not affect gameplay.

May cause discoloration when used with third-party submods—use at your own risk!
