Prologue

Across the boundless fields of snow, beside the frozen Neva,
Twelve men raised a hymn into the night—
Not in praise of Heaven, but of the fire upon the earth,
While the cross gleamed upon the tips of their bayonets.

Let the old world sink beneath the blizzard!

But suddenly, the wind changed direction.
The red banner was torn to shreds,
And the footsteps of the leader
Vanished beyond the boundless horizon.

The victors sang wildly in triumph,
While the defeated languished in defeat.

Still the snow fell, burying banners and medals,
Yet it could not bury the cold gleam upon those bayonets—
Someone tore a corner from a sheet of writing paper, wrapped that faint light within it,
And tucked it into a crack in a railway sleeper, sending it westward beneath the turning wheels.

Is still haunting Europe.”

Main Content

Changes and additions for a socialist Russia include:

• A coalition government focus tree following the first election
• A completely reworked military focus tree
• The Federal Planning Commission
• Engaging development mechanics, including the Five-Year Plan, education reform, land reform, and more
• Additional content and expanded roles for prominent Bolshevik figures
• An exceptionally extensive collection of narrative content and flavour events
• A new opening interface and loading music
• A massive music pack

Future Plans

Tentative plans, listed in order of priority:

• A complete rework of the foreign policy branch
• Early versions of the Europa Intelligence Bureau and the Far Eastern Soviet Republic
• A Bolshevik-led purge and democratic movement following the “accident”

This mod does not guarantee that every character will be portrayed exactly as they were in OTL. Some details have been adjusted to serve the story. Nevertheless, please point out any serious inaccuracies.
