It's 1936.

The ideas of freedom and liberty never took hold. The world stayed monarchist, and democracy never became popular. Crowns that should have fallen still sit on heads, and empires that could have crumbled still stretch across continents.

But every throne rests on the believe of those beneath it. Decades of suppressing the people's freedoms and opinions have threatend the legitimacy of these monarchies, and the population is drifting toward more radical ideas and movements. Socialists organise in the factories. Nationalists gather in the streets. Republicans whisper in the halls.

This is a world where empires rise, fall, and reshape history for many more centuries. The only question is which ones willl be surviving these new Days?

Content

Dawn of Empires is built on lore and high-quality content. Instead of a total conversion, we've put our time into deep, balanced and genuinely interesting content and storytelling. You keep the familiar vanilla feel, enhanced with completely new Content. The mod is completed. No unfinished trees, no placeholder focuses, no "coming soon" branches. Six fully finished nations, ready to play from day one:

• The Russian Empire

• The Spanish Empire

• The Kingdom of Austria

• The Kingdom of Prussia

The Road Ahead

Release is only the beginning. We're planning content for many more Countries, with plenty beyond that. Every one of them will get the same treatment as the six in this release: finished, balanced, and worth playing.

Our Development Team is already working on the Next Update: V1.1 "The Struggle for the Bosporus" Following Nations will receive Content in this Update:
