The entire collection has been audited, classified, cleaned up and reordered so aircraft appear where they actually make sense.

• Light / Carrier Light: 702 icons / 264 models

• Medium: 337 icons / 220 models

• Heavy: 149 icons / 77 models

Light covers fighters, CAS, NAVs, and suitable twin-engine aircraft.

Medium contains appropriate two-, three- and four-engine aircraft.

Heavy contains four- and six-engine aircraft, with six-engine aircraft exclusive to Heavy.

Icons and 3D models follow the same classification system.

Where Do I Find My Plane?

Each catalogue follows the same order: [list=1]

• Your country's required HOI4 default aircraft

• Germany

• Soviet Union

• United States

• Japan

• Italy

• France

• United Kingdom & Commonwealth

• Minor countries — alphabetical

• Shared & generic aircraft

Within each country, aircraft progress broadly from earlier designs into later wartime aircraft.

Jets come at the bottom of the catalogue in the same country order.

In Light, the additional twin-engine aircraft collection also appears towards the bottom.

So if you're looking for a plane, this is the order to look. You shouldn't need to hunt through random categories anymore.
