North Sea Empire

This mod aims to make playing Denmark an interesting choice which allows for other options than merely waiting around for the German declaration of war. Therefore this mod adds a new national focus tree for Denmark featuring roughly 112 new decisions and along with it new events and a few balance and starting changes along with new generals, admirals and advisers. It is to be noted that this mod is made for the 1936 start and is therefore not optimized for the 1939 one.

The national focus tree allows for playing as democratic, facist or communist while holding meaningful choices for all of these be it to reunite Scandinavia under the Kalmar Union, or create a new Nordic Alliances that will stand against the Axis and Commintern threats. To increase the pace of Denmark going facist or communist, the popularity of these two have both been boosted to 20% although Denmark still remains firmly democratic at the start of the game. Personally I always found the land/navy/air national focus branches to be rather dull, and as such this national focus mod does not include these directly,but rather have those foci in a "Danish Trade" branch, which allows for more interesting options.

It is advised to play with historical AI on, if you do not wish to risk the British intervention in Scandinavia.
