For Konge og Fedreland: Better Norway

Description

My goal for this mod is to give you more fun and interesting ways to play as Norway - but at the same time not being too anachronistic or overpowered. The national focus has a variety of political paths, full air/navy/army paths as well as an industrial path. I feel this mod currently represent a complete experience playing as Norway but I also intend to update it with more cool stuff. Norway is very difficult to play without my mod - although my mod makes it slightly easier - Norway is still a hard country to play!

• A complete national focus tree.

• Fully named Aircrafts, Tanks, Infantry Equipment and more.

• The ability to create two different factions - or you can join allies, axis or comintern.

• Lots of real life companies from (semi-)accurate Norwegian history (1920-1950).

Warning/Compatibility

• Some stuff have been given "alternate history". For instance Troll never made tanks and oil wasn't discovered in Norway until the 1970s.

• The names for ships, tanks and aircrafts are entirely made up but based on real life.

** This mod ONLY changes game files related to Norway so it should be compatible with most other mods.**

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(automobile)) never produced tanks but they did make a car model in 1956 which even today is one of the few car models produced in Norway.

• Norsk Hydro was founded in 1905 making fertilizers. Norwegian Special Operatives working under the British SOE sabotaged one of their factories during WW2 because Germany was using the heavy water to experiment with nuclear technology. Today Hydro is a huge global producer of aluminium.

• Elkem, referred to in the mod as "Elektrokemisk" (full name: Det Norske Aktieselskap for Elektrokemisk Industri), started as a company in 1904. Today they are a fairly large global producer of silicon and light metals.

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krag%E2%80%93J%C3%B8rgensen) is a semi-legendary bolt-action rifle which was used all over the world late 1800s to early 1900s. The US army produced over half a million of them. The rifle was also in the game Red Dead Redemption!

• The two aircraft producers in my mod never really made many planes, they made some early bi-planes 1900-1930s which were used for training purposes.

• The tanks are named after Norse gods.

• The "Aggressive Doctrine" focus under the allies path gives you some "fantastical/dubious" claims on north German lands owned by Sweden from 1630 to 1815 (Swedish Pomerania), plus southern Italy which the Normans conquered in the 11th and 12th centuries.

• The "Ancient Claims" focus under the axis path gives you equally "fantastical/dubious" claims on parts of Sweden and Denmark which at different points in history used to belong to Norway!
