Me 262 Jet Fighter Model

This mod adds the Me 262 jet fighter model for Germany.I found the model in the game files but it doesn't show up when you send jets in action even though the model looks to be complete (it even has its own sound effects).After I found it in the game files I tried to see if anybody else found this model and to find more information about it but I didn't find any,so I decided to upload the model as a mod.

Update 1

The original low quality skin of the model was replaced by a higher quality one.

Update 2

The model no longer replaces the Bf 109,instead it shows when a jet is deplyed.

Added a new skin based on a Me 262 of the Jagdgeschwader 7 (JG 7) Nowotny left at Prague-Ruzyne. To use it download this file: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3ri_SmHgMY6MUJ2OHRVVmhpWGM then go to Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\394360\910220115 there you should find a zip file named "me_262",just copy and paste the file you downloaded there and overwrite the existing file and the new skin should appear in game.

Update 3

Added a sound file so you can change the sound of the plane if you think it's too loud or too quiet. Here's a small tutorial on how to do it:

1. First you will need a program that can open the zip files,for that you can either use WinRar or 7zip.
2. Then go to Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\394360\910220115 (this is where the mod file is located) there you will find a zip file named "me_262"
3. Open the me_262.zip file
4. There you should find 3 folders (common,gfx and sound), open the sound folder
5. In the sound folder you will find a file name sound.asset ,open that file with a text editor (like Notepad)
6. Press CTRL+F (easier to search this way) and type the word "jet" in the window that will open,then press ENTER,after that close that window.
7. You should see the following lines: sound = { name = "airplane_jet_idle_01" file = "animations/airplane_jet_idle_01.wav" volume = 0.5 }

You will want to change the number after "volume=" from all the files named airplane_jet_idle (01,02,03,04) to what number you want and that should change the sound in game.

Note: If you want to use the other skin and change the sound volume of the plane you will need to first download and install the other skin then change the sound file.
