Controls

Reload - Switch between landscape and portrait mode
Right-click - Toggle focus on the phone
Left-click - Click on buttons, panels and the like
Long-click - Long-click buttons, open the app screen, edit the homescreen
Scroll-wheel - Scroll up or down on a page

Commands

gphone_reset - Resets the phone entirely. Removes all data and closes all apps.
gphone_clearcache - Clears the image cache.
gphone_redownloadimages - Redownloads all images currently cached.
gphone_reloadapps - Reloads the code in all apps.
gphone_log_print - Prints the error log.
gphone_log_copy - Copies the error log to clipboard.
gphone_log_wipe - Clears the error log.
gphone_log_report - Sends a bug-report with the error clipboarded.

Recommended settings

• Changing the beta-branch on garry's mod to "chromium" makes it use a more modern browser instead of the way-outdated awesomium. This boosts performance when using browser-related apps and also allows it to access newer websites. Some might not have the option to do so and not many servers use it, which means you'll be stuck with awesomium, nothing I can change.

• Disabling motion blur allows the camera to function properly without being blurred in thirdperson (And generally looks better imo).

Notes

The phone's aspect ratio is 56:83, though the resolution is scaled with your ingame resolution, up to a maximum of 1120 by 1660 pixels. Client, server and debug settings can be found in Sandbox menu > Settings > GPhone. Pictures taken with the Camera app are saved in "garrysmod\data\gphone\photos". Map overview images are saved in "garrysmod\data\gphone\maps".

Custom content

Music has to be a direct download-link. Links from youtube, spotify, mediafire etc. won't work, you have to use a direct link or path to the file. An example of an online file could be 'http://example.com/music.mp3'. An example of a local file could be 'sound/music.mp3'

Supported addons

Bugs

Some people have trouble with the browser app not responding. This might be a problem with the OS as I'm pretty sure the awesomium/chromium browser doesn't support all operating systems properly. Not really anything I can fix.

Some people have completely black screens. This probably means your game doesn't support rendertargets, for whatever reason. Try fiddling around with the direct-x lvl to see if it changes.

If you get an error message saying "Warning: Table client_lua_files is full" it means you have WAY to many addons installed. Consider removing or disabling them if you want anything to work.

If Apps don't appear, then try disabling a few or all of your addons to see if it fixes anything.
