[VJ Advanced] WW2 SNPC - German Flak Anti-Air Gun

Require VJ Base Addon and other required items to work.

Ground emplacements for shooting down LFS AI planes!

If you want to use these snpc with LFS AI planes, please assign the correct AI Team value which tell the AA gun which AI team stands for Axis or Allies. For example, if you are using German planes with AI Team of 1, set vj_advancedoi_snpc_lfsteam_german as 1. Set both of this Cvar to 0 leads to AA guns attacking all planes, regardless of team.

If you didnt know about LFS planes, I suggest you to try it out as it has AI-controlled planes and well-made plane physics. Though this snpc addon is VJ-Based, so it doesn't need LFS Base.

Anti-Air Gun SNPC with (LFS) means they can attack LFS planes, while also being able to be targeted by such planes when the guns are crewed. Also, they can target all other NPCs just like regular VJ SNPCs.

However, the gun emplacement will still prioritize any hostile VJ SNPCs within range and sight before fighting the planes.

The Flak AA gun can shoot down LFS AI-controlled planes within range, the MG81 has the lowest range while 88 mm Flak 36 has the farthest range. All guns can also be used against ground targets as well, but with shorter range.

The AA gun has high elevation, along with the ability to fire shells that can explode near its target to effectively combat fighter planes and helicopters. For Flak 37, its shell can do good damage to armoured target too.

Also the gun will take the target plane velocity into account and shoot in front of it to be more likely to score hit. Planes flying straight over the AA guns are most likely to be shot down, as well as those flying in constant path and speed.

The emplacement needs to be crewed with SNPCs in order to fire and move, so be sure to spawn a couple of soldier SNPCs from the required addons to crew the guns.

The gun crew can be shot down independently of the gun emplacement itself, leaving the gun empty for other SNPCs to recrew.

However, the gun shield on some emplacements provides partial and directional cover for the gun crew, protecting the crew from bullet in certain directions but occasionally bullets may penetrate the shield and injure the gun crew.

Be aware that the emplacements are made for DOI advanced SNPC (found in the required items) only, but trial-and-error may teach you what snpc can use these Gun emplacement or not. Players CANNOT use these emplacements.

NOTES:

Playermodel of the snpc are not included.

For the best result, please only spawn them with their default weapons.

The NPC are in Day of Infamy tab.
