Overview

The T-62 was a development from the T-55, driven by the need for a more powerful gun that could fire APFSDS rounds. At one point, the two vehicles composed more than 80% of the Soviet armored force. While neglected in reputation compared to the likes of the T-55, T-34, and T-72 models of tank, the T-62 is still widely used around the globe, be it in heavily upgraded, modernized form, or practically the way it was out of the factory. This one is the latter.

It is inferior in every way to the more modern M1A1HA Abrams, sporting worse armor protection, less maneuverability, and an all-round worse gun. Operators should be aware of this disparity - engaging an Abrams head-on is suicide. But in times of need, a tank is a tank, and with some luck, multiple operators may still be able to destroy an American vehicle all the same.
