Inspired by Mirror's Edge, find it in: Weapons > Other > Parkour The parkour functions ONLY WORK WHILE YOU HAVE THE SWEP EQUIPPED. All used sound effects were created by me or pulled from a sound pack that I have a license for.
This simple SWEP adds wallrunning, climbing springboard jumping (from Mirror's Edge) and sliding. Watch the video for a simple tutorial or see below:
- Wallrun: have a wall either to your left or right side, then press jump and hold forward to run along the wall
- Wallclimb: have a wall in front of you, run towards it and hold jump, you can use crouch to help if you can only barely get over the edge
- Springboard jump: run towards a prop, then hold forward + hold jump and land on the prop while still holding jump, you will fly up into the air
- Sliding: press the crouch button while running to do a slide
It also adds health regeneration and modifies the walk/run speeds of the player, as well as 'disables' long jumping.
