Ladies and gentlemen... I give you... the scariest horror map on gmod...

LEVEL IS A SEQUAL TO THE ORIGINAL GM_HIDE. BE SURE YOU PLAY THE FIRST ONE FIRST. EITHER WAY. YOU'RE IN FOR A RIDE.

If you think for one minute that this level is a walk in the park, play it, and find out. My friends pooped themselves testing it. So did I.

You play in an actual nightmare. Your goal is to escape this haunted mansion; any of your worst fears will become true. If you play with two players, one player may monitor the power enabled in the ghost lab. The other player can also watch the cameras and indicators that come on inside the lab room. This will ensure that the other player is safe. You will need to keep an eye out for any keys, upgrades, and watch for when the heavy, metal door closes. If you have any further questions, listen to the guide at the start of the game. Read this entire paragraph one more time.

===HOW TO PLAY===

**

👻 If you haven't already figured it out, click 'E' on the bed at the spawn of the level. You will then arrive in a dark room with large red light. Make your way behind the ghost equipment and activate the power - with the three green lights. You will need to continuously enable the power every time it goes out. Once activated, grab the ghost detector and start your exploration.

👻 Now that the power is enabled, you are given some extra light to search for keys and fireplaces. Activating the fireplaces will give you special features to make your journey easier. Find all three of the fireplaces, and the ghost will be destroyed (the last fireplace is upstairs).

👻Finally. If you have explored the mansion enough, and opened the library door, then you will receive a staircase in the cloakroom leading to the upstairs. The upstairs door will automatically open if you have unlocked 20 doors in total throughout the mansion. Once upstairs, locate the mansion key. You will use this larger key for unlocking the mansion's main doors. Escape.

THE GHOST LAB

** After "falling asleep," you will arrive here. The ghost lab is (usually) safe at all times, but it is completely safe when the main door is closed. Have fun with it, and keep an eye on the ghost detector equipment. Things will get more interesting as you progress through the level.

THE GHOST

** The ghost detector will pick up this creature, and the ghost will strengthen as you progress through the level. You may find out really soon how annoying the ghost is, but it's there for a reason. Watch out!

**

HARDMODE

** You will enter hardmode at a random time during the level. You will know if you have entered hardmode if you get a loud garbling sound with an alien appearing on your screen :l . This will make the mansion become extremely aggressive towards you - yes, and scarier. Your best option is to hurry, hide in the lab, or escape quicker than ever.

**

CORRUPT MANSION

** Not a place ANYONE should be. If you find yourself in an identical part of the mansion with fuzzballs floating around, scary pictures placed everywhere, then you're at this place. Best option is to be patient and stay safe in the kitchen. The corrupt mansion will become ever so morbid and horrifying if you are stuck here when the power is out.

THE TV

** You're stuck here until it decides to let you go. After the TV is done approaching you in the face, it will teleport you in a random location.

PENNYWISE

** As if this map couldn't get any scarier? But who's afraid of It anyways? If you get jumpscared by him, you will need to decide which door to take.

THE STATIC MONSTER

** This is the WORST creature to encounter on gm_hide_assembly. The Static Monster is a super noisy, disgusting, and demonic creature that lurks around, and hides. Encountering the Static Monster is actually a true story according to rare hallucinations and sleep-paralysis nightmares told by people. You will only find the Static Monster when either upstairs, or in the corrupt mansion. As the creator of this map, I got several heart attacks from this thing. Just warning you, play at your own risk.
