A hologram was a three-dimensional visual projection of an object or data, most commonly including maps, technical plans or other information. Holograms were used for many different purposes, including entertainment, military planning, or political speeches, and as such touched the lives of nearly every being in the galaxy. This addon features a tool allowing you to turn almost anything, including yourself, into a hologram.
This addon contains:
- lua/autorun/client/hologramdraw.lua - the script used to render hologram effects on things
- lua/weapons/gmod_tool/stools/hologramtool.lua - the script for the tool allowing you to make things holograms
- materials/hisui/sw/holo_distort.vtf - the distortion texture that appears occasionally
- materials/hisui/sw/holo_lines.vtf - the scanlines texture
- shaders/fxc/hisuiholo_ps20b.vcs - the pixel shader used for the hologram effect
- shaders/fxc/hisuiholo_vs20.vcs - the vertex shader used for the hologram effect
