Flashlights with Lightspill

20+ Custom flashlights with lightspill (light from the flashlight spreading and lighting up the room). Huge thanks to Defrective.

TUTORIAL/HOW TO USE: In case you can't or won't watch the video tutorial, go to the options tab, click on flashlight textures in the lightspill section, rightclick and copy the one you want. Then open third person flashlight settings and paste in there with the reccommended settings below, also maybe uncheck the shadows option because it dims flashlights for some people.

Reccomended settings are low game fov so you don't see the end of the gradient, 120 flashlight fov, and 100-400 brightness depending on the maps brightness or flashlight texture. For phone put fov at 130+ low range, and use very low brightness.

Finally save your config, if you want it to be the default config (the one used every time you first load into a server) just name it server_default.

This will only for sure work alone with the third person flashlight mod, other addons will need the option to use the vanilla flashlight turned on to work.

Stolen from Steve: To anyone who wish to apply this addon to '[VMAnip] Flashlight' addon, copy to clipboard the effects file path of your desired flashlight texture from this addon, then paste it in front of this ConVar: cl_VMANIPFlash_texture Though, this mod is not meant for it and the light is going to be very small.
