You're doing it wrong here, my system works but holy WOW the one that this guy made is freaking amazing...
View any particle that's installed in your game and spawn it without needing to find the particle definition
GParticles will look up all your PCF and read those files to display all possible particles available and also allowing you to spawn those by using it tool
There are no smoke neither mirrors for magic tricks, this script will read the binaries and then return all particles on it file
Notes:
Can cause crash if you open every file since you're loading and displaying lots of particles at once, recommended to check some files, close spawnmenu, wait few secs and then look for other particles as well, this cannot be fixed, don't be dumb dumb
Disclaimer:
Not every particle shown it's in game, get TF2, CSGO, any content that might bring particles and it will automatically show in this tab
