Description
Remember that grappling knife from... Uhmmm... Wait... I don't think any game has actually made such a thing. Well I suppose I'll be the first then. Welcome to my brand new random addon that I made in 2 days. This SWEP allows you to throw a knife at a wall or ceiling, after which a rope will appear and you will be able to climb it up and down.
Features
A SWEP that throws grappling knives. A rope which you can climb.
Controls
Left-click with grappling knife - Throws a knife at where you are pointing. Use (E) while looking at a rope - Climb. Z (Undo) - Remove rope if placed.
Notes
The crosshair for the grappling knife indicates how far you can throw it. White means it will hit exactly where you aimed. Yellow means gravity will affect it a bit. Red means gravity will affect it alot.
The knife won't damage entities.
Bugs
Some people seem to not be able to throw the knife that far. I have no idea why this happens, it works perfectly for me in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Convars
gk_thirdperson[0/1] - Disable/Enable thirdperson when climbing ropes. gk_forcefirstperson[0/1] - Disable/Enable forced firstperson when climbing ropes(Admin only). gk_enableshooting[0/1] - Disable/Enable weapons when climbing ropes(Admin Only).
