Just a simple and versatile ammo dispenser for all your needs

Description

This addon introduces an ammo dispenser entitity. All its aspects can be changed in real-time from the config (Q > Utilities > Advanced Ammo Dispenser). Must have for any DarkRP, MilitaryRP or SWRP. It should work with every weapon on the workshop.

Config Options

• Change the amount of ammo and secondary ammo players get per use

• Enable dynamic ammo to give players one full magazine instead of a fixed amount

• Total Ammo Cap

• Cooldown and cooldown sound

• Change the model

• Other minor quality of life features

Disclaimer

• Perma Props 4 can only save the model persistently between sessions, the ammo dispensers fetch the current config whenever they are being spawned. Permaprops respawns them after every restart/map change, so keep in mind: If you change the config in betwen sessions, all current ammo dispenser will be updated with these values in the next session.

• Best practice is to modify the config, spawn a single box and immediatly permaprop it, if you spawn multiple boxes and change their model in the config, they will all have the same config if you permaprop them.

2.0 Update

Its been about 5 years (March 2016) since the first prototype of the "simple ammo dispenser" has been developed. It was quite successfull back then, so A-10 and me made a new version, the advanced ammo dispenser, back in late 2016. A lot of time has passed and I've quit gmod a long time ago. After a user's suggestion I decided to give this addon the love it deserved and made a major update:

• Major rewrite of 90% of the code

• Tremendously optimized performance and security

• New config menu

• More config options that couldn't be accessed earlier

• Quality of life features such as a cooldown sound
