Combine Invasion: Safehouse Assault

The legendary Gordon Freeman has returned! And Dr. Kleiner needs the teleporter relay hidden in the basement of your safehouse to guide him to Black Mesa East! One issue though: The Combine are about to raid the safehouse! Grab your weapons!

You will need to hold out for three waves of assaults! Do NOT let them destroy the relay in the basement, or the resistance is finished!

This is my fourth Combine Invasion map. It is loosely based on PAYDAY 2's Safehouse Raid heist and allowed me to experiment with a more robust enemy attack system. (no more enemies getting stuck outside the map!)

The objective of this map is to survive 3 waves of attack from the Combine. Each wave has a special vehicle deployed to make your lives slightly more miserable.

The mission is failed when the teleporter relay in the basement is destroyed.

If you find that the map for some reason does not seem to work properly, please try the following:

• DISABLE ANY OTHER ADDONS This is a very important step, as many addons on the workshop modify the behavior of entities that this map utilises

• VERIFY YOUR GAME CACHE In a few cases, Steam may not have downloaded Garry's Mod correctly, or it's file system became corrupt. Usually as a result of poor/unstable internet. Verifying game cache can sometimes locate corrupted files and replace them with working ones.

• REINSTALL GARRY'S MOD See "Verify your game cache"; In even fewer cases, Verifying game cache might not even solve this issue. In this extreme case, you may need to reinstall Garry's Mod all together.

• WHERE TO FIND THE MAP The map is located in the 'other' section in the map browser and is called 'cmbinv_safehouse_v2'

• Other people get the 'MAP cmbinv_safehouse_v2.bsp IS MISSING FROM DIRECTORY' error when joining All players wishing to join your listen server must subscribe to the map to be able to join.
