Franchi SPAS-12 with Fixed Stock (Combat Shotgun)

Franchi Sporting Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun with a fixed stock, because folding stocks are too mainstream.

*The Italian Franchi designed SPAS-12 is a very iconic shotgun that was made popular worldwide due to it's distinctive appearance, and widespread representation in video games and movies. Chambered for the popular 12 Gauge shotgun shell, the SPAS-12 was initially designed for military and police use. It features a dual firing system where it enables the operator to use pump action for low pressured rounds (such as bean bags), or semi-automatic for standard 12 gauges. The SPAS-12 is also most renowned for it's folding stock, thus improving concealment and flexibility when engaging threats in close quarters environments. A hook can also be utilised to allow the operator to shoot one handed, especially from within a vehicle.

Despite Franchi's initial targeted market, the SPAS-12 was also popular amongst civilian use as well, with the US being the prime consumer. However, it wasn't until 1990 where Franchi underwent re-designs of the SPAS-12 to re-brand the shotgun under the US's new 1989 import ban, as the "Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun". Hence, fixed stock and shorter magazine tube variants were introduced to meet the new requirements. Unfortunately, productions ended when Franchi made massive loss of sales due to the 1994 ban.*
