2002. The PlayStation 2 era. The greatest era. No one had long hair, voice acting was still a novelty, the best fatality they could think of in Mortal Kombat was elongating someone's neck, everyone was burying their Dreamcast, Halo was relevant, Team ICO did things, Valve made software, John Carmack hadn't yet bumped his head and forgotten he wasn't an Astronaut, Capcom knew how to spell it's name correctly, Sam Lake's face, and everything wasn't running on the Unreal Engine - everything was running on the RenderWare Engine instead.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

The Grand Theft Auto series is a British franchise with ties going as far back as the Cthulhu inception, bent on bringing destabalization to Australian and North American society through footage of twiggy models flinging other twiggy models out of cars. At least, that's how alot of people seemed to describe it back then, inbetween death screams and spouts of arm flailing, like the good ol' Night Trap days. If there's anything from back then that should have people up in torches and pitchforks it's the 3DO and the 32X. I'm still pissed about that to this day, but 3DO doesn't return my calls anymore these days. Dickholes. Don't even get me started on the Amiga CD32.

Anyway, it's Nick! Donning the outfit of Grand Theft Auto Vice City protagonist and quadrupal peanut banana backflip basketcase Tommy Vercetti, one cannot deny the uncanniness of how fitting it is to have Nick wear this. While humanity still manages to exist, law still exists, and he's on a mission to hunt down and break every last one of them. Once that's done he'll go after the crimes themselves, because when you break and abolish rule of law, everything that was meant to oppose law technically becomes the law itself in a de facto sort of way, and Nick just can't tolerate that. Or anything. Or anyone. So grab your gun, grab your Hawaiian shirt and hell I don't know just shoot everyone mofocka it's like world war 8.
