Daniel Defense M4V5

Previously on the secretively Spanish escapades of El Motorista de Blanco and some three other losers not worth the mention, El Frunctissimo and what's-their-names had brought themselves within the decrepit folds of a stagnant hospital in their indefinite retreat from the oncoming clutters of the shambling necrotic. The steel double-doors they had bolted shut with chairs and a twitchy roomba were giving way to the lashes from the piling ensemble of undead folks repeatedly asking for someone named Brian with uncanny unison assertiveness. Having exhausted the bullets from the engraved revolvers that complimented his fine leather holsters betwixt his red Poncho, the Spaniard and the three dullards scoured the rooms of the hospital for anything to use in the incoming stand-off, his magnificent combed mustache fluttering between the suave dashes from room to room. Eventually his studdly presence fell tombed to the hospital's maternity ward, but there was no mad dash to the nearest closet or drawer, rather a stiffed eyebrow in stark puzzlement to what the room contained, wrapped within rocket-patterned blankets and lovingly placed atop soft pillows. Of course like any hospital of the Southern United States the maternity ward wasn't so much full of slumbering newborn infants encased in stereotypical weaved baskets but rather cradles that gently contained a newborn AR-15. Indeed, generations of Hoohoos and Pabst can have odd effects on the American uterus... And naturally because all AR-15's are born differently each one bore a different arrangement of designs and features, the one El Frunco plucked sporting a fattened stock and an intricate rail system, with an afterbirth of handled magazines. Tossing the newfound newborn armaments to Boring, Useless and Louis, Fruncaphone brought his gaze towards the rickety doors rifle in hand. The first few to come through might get taken down by the foaming roomba but what come through afterwards will have to have a stern talk with the biker's newly acquired piece, and his gun happened to know one really loud word.

The Daniel Defense M4V5, another one of those Southified AR-15's condoned to a life of executing beer cans and the occasional gopher. We can't all be the M16 and serve illustrious inanimate careers best summarized with frilly horn fanfares. No, the DDM4V5 alas comes from a lifestyle that's considered a bit different, one where the most eventful thing a gun can experience is the taking down of a deer that probably deserved it and the summary entombment of it's carcass still filled with the open-jawed terrified expression from it's final moments within a thick layer of deep-fried batter.

Such is the American style.

This is Cele's Insurgency-bred DDM4V5, ported over to L4D. This replaces the M16 rifle.
