RE2 Remake M79 Custom (Grenade Launcher)

A vanilla M79 Grenade Launcher (known as the "GM-79" in-game), found in the R.P.D. weapons locker room comes with custom fixed sights and a pistol grip. Not to be confused with the sawn-off variant which has a much shorter barrel length. Ported from Resident Evil 2 (RE2)/Biohazard 2 Remake.

A rather iconic wooden furniture grenade launcher first used during the Vietnam War. The M79 is an American 40mm break-action grenade launcher favoured by frontline troops used in a whole variety of situations, whether it may be to deploy smoke screens, or to clear out an enemy holdout from a safe distance. Due to the M79's appearance in Vietnam with it's distinctive impact noises, the M79 has earned several nicknames by infantry troops such as the "Thumper" by the Americans, and the "Wombat Gun" by the Aussies.
