[CORE MOD] Realistic Damage

NOTE THAT THIS MOD DOES NOTHING ALONE. YOU NEED COMPATIBLE SURVIVOR MODS

This mod is the CORE Mod that is required for the Realistic Damage effects. It contains textures and resource files to enable (mainly) a blood effect on compatible survivors. It can do a lot of things, but not alone. You need compatible survivors.

This mod is my take to provide something new and fresh to the L4D2 community; especially with the new update. This brand new effect comes with a fully detailed Steam Guide for all Modders that want to give the technique a try. It only takes a few minutes (or even a few seconds) to implement it in any survivor or infected mod and nothing else is required besides this mod. Packed with a lot of customization options, this is actually more than just a mod, it's a whole new feature for all modders to play with.

Works on all the servers that allow mods
Improvements and bug fixes will directly be applied to already released mods
Allows the use of various blood effects that change depending on the survivor health
Allows the use of a fire damage effect (scorch) and boomer bile effects
Allows to make parts of the body armor disappear when the survivor take damage
Allows 3D wounds or bandages when the survivor takes damage
Randomized blood patterns (RNG)
Supports randomized armor break or 3D wounds and material (VMT) swap
HD blood textures, fire damage textures, and boomer bile texture
Allows the use of RNG (randomization) for clothes under the blood (embed)
Medkits can heal the wounds, but pills and adrenaline cannot
Clothes can keep the blood effect while the skins heals
The blood effects can stay even between maps
Improved RNG effects with new ultra stable code
Copy&paste level of difficulty to implement it in any mod
