Helicopter with translucent glass

This mod turns the glass on the escape helicopters translucent. The outro camera for "No Mercy" has been slightly modified, as to not show any props that would fade out anymore. Whilst I was at it, I also fixed the pilot location so the pilots hold onto the stick.

Here's what is different between this helicopter and the original: Translucent Glass Fixed smoothing errors. Fixed holes Using non culled vmt patch (shows textures on both side of a face, mostly used for chairs) New 'No Mercy' outro camera to fix fading props issue on the map New 'Dark Carnival' Outro path and camera. To avoid clipping through buildings. New Pilot location so that they actually hold the stick. Fixed custom Suicide Blitz 2 model.

Long Story short: the guys who made that map are incompetent. They crappily hexed the helicopter and refuse to (or don't know how to) fix it. Check this discussion about it. Maybe let them know you'd like that fix aswell. This addon contains a fixed version of that helicopter, just for that campaign. Unfortunately the game's addon load order decides if you get to see the fixed helicopter of this addon, or the broken one shipped with the campaign.

Seen on C8M2_subway when leaving the office building after the subway. the one that hovers for about five seconds. The helicopter model would allow a pilot to properly fit, but the official maps have not done this. Custom campaigns could make use of a pilot though. So in order to have a pilot on official maps, i put him in the right hand side seat. Any custom campaigns that add a pilot properly, will just have two pilots.

Seen in c2m3_coaster. BUT for some god forsaken reason, this skybox model AND the default size model appear at the same time, on top of eachother. which makes it look like the pilot is not inside the helicopter. Hopefully more competent mappers will not be this stupid and custom campaigns won't have this issue.

Is only seen on C8M3_Sewers, every now and then picking up people on the Mercy Hospital Rooftop. The retail model used is silver and very, very lowpoly. I replaced it with a copy of the NewsChopper 5
