Minmode - Complete Pack

Please note that this mod is basically a model mod, due to the nature of how the animations for each weapon is implemented. (Animations are inside the model instead of being a separate file like the Survivors.)

Are you one of those people that are fine with the default weapons but just want to have a better time seeing the entire screen without seeing your Survivor's inner parts of their arms? No? Well, here's a thing that I personally find extremely helpful.

Introducing the complete pack! All guns, items and melees have been moddified! That being said, if you want only some weapons with Minmode there are separated weapon-types avaialbe: Guns only Pack Items/Throwables only Pack Melee only Pack

A few things were also changed. The gnome's look_poses have been reversed/fixed. Another melee's look_poses were flipped.

Note:

Any weapon mods that replace the v_models will conflict with this, as the animations are not separate from the models themselves. However, only the Molotov and Bile Bomb can be safely modded as their animations use a separate model.

Dual Pistols have been redone. Firing sounds have been fixed! (See Update Changelog for more info.)

It should be noted that because the view has been lowered, the flashlights that are on the guns will be a bit more lower than usual.

Versus

In November 1st, 2018, an update was released to the game that disables mods in competitive game modes such as Versus. You can read about the blog post here.

In short, "Competitive," servers are basically any game modes that allow the player to take control of the Special Infected. Game modes such as Scavenge, Versus, Realism Versus, and even Versus Survival have mods automatically disabled on Official Servers. Game modes such as Survival still allow mods despite having a competitive community due to the fact that players cannot play as the Special Infected.

You can still bypass the no-mods enforcement by doing the same thing as how installing mods work for the original L4D game. Follow this guide, but for your L4D2 files. You do not need to download Python. Just follow the First Time Setup to get your mod folder working. Then look for the addon itself in your left4dead2/addons/workshop folders and search for 2291231800.vpk. Copy & Paste it into your new mod folder and rename it to pak01_dir.vpk.
