Global Radar 2.0 (Core)

❗️ If you want to use the Global Radar and the SYS HUD mods, download this special addon that includes both and do not subscribe to the SYS Hud or this Global Radar Core Mod

This mod is the CORE Mod that is required for the Global Radar (2.0). Some people might know it from GameMaps, but this is the updated, 2020 version.

The Global Radar is a game helper that doesn't work in Versus (due to server restricting mods), but that works on Campaign on official servers. You need to choose what items or infected you want it to detect, by subscribing to compatible mods.

You have two options (for each item / infected):

• If you use the default L4D2 model, you can subscribe to the radar for the default model

• You can use any of my mods, they are all detected by the radar, without the need of the radar for the default item.

The radar doesn't work on any other mod that replaces the shape or the animations. However, if you are a modder and want to make it compatible, it's not that hard. Just read the Guide on how to implement it.

The 2020 version of the radar has new features compared to the 2016 version:

• Wide range detection (74 units instead of 30)
• Now detects L4D1 infected
• Can now detect Fire Ammo and Explosive Ammo
• Includes a Witch crown hint radar
• Includes a Tank health radar

Detects infected and items up to 74 units and through near walls
Works in Campaign and Survival mods (but not in Versus)
HD HUD icons that are compatible with almost every HUD

Note that since 2018, Versus servers are sv_pure 1 and do not allow mods anymore, this mod has to be considered fair and does not violate the Workshop rules. It is not a cheat and using it is not cheating.
