RE2 Remake H&K VP70M Machine Pistol (UZI SMG)

Rookie Raccoon City police officer Leon Kennedy's personal conceal carry sidearm in Resident Evil 2 (RE2)/Biohazard 2 Remake is the H&K VP70 fitted with aftermarket custom sights (known as the "Matilda" in-game). Despite the R.P.D's standard issue sidearm is the Browning Hi-Power, Leon carried his VP70 throughout the entire game due to the police station being overran by infecteds. Also for some reason, the handgun in-game is underloaded to 12 rounds in the standard magazine, despite an IRL VP70 can hold up to 18 rounds plus 1 in the chamber.

This is a fully-upgraded version of Leon's personal sidearm. Attachments for the VP70 can be found throughout the Raccoon Police Station despite being a non-standard issue sidearm, which is honestly hella more confusing than solving the ridiculous puzzles scattered throughout the former art museum. The pistol can fire in 3 rounds burst given that the stock is attached. Other attachments include a completely fictional muzzle device and extended magazine, which both doesn't exist IRL for the VP70.

A distinctive German made handgun, the VP70 by Heckler & Koch is renown to be the world's first polymer frame handgun, as well as having a horrendous double-action only trigger similar to a stapler gun. Military variants of the VP70 has the capability to attach a stock with a firing selector, thereby turning it into a 3 round burst machine pistol.
