I'm having a little trouble getting the Halo 4 guns working properly in L4D2 (mainly because they're all wierd shapes and won't fit the hands), so in the meantime, I figured I'd whip up this fun little mod for some of the background vehicles.
It's nothing too fancy, using the default Halo 3 textures/normals with customized VMT settings, but it adds to the Halo-y atmosphere! ...and the Pelicans are just too fun to watch going overhead!
Features:
- 3 Warthog variants replace the Humvees.
- Pelicans replace the F18s.
- Turned off fog for the Pelicans, so they can be better seen flying overhead.
Known Bug:
- There are a couple in-game Humvees with their headlights on. I wasn't able to move the lights themselves, as it would mess up every other vehicle with headlights, so for those rare Warthogs (I believe there's only 1 or 2 in the default campaigns) their on-headlights will float a bit off the model. It's nothing too noticeable.
