Minimalistic Menu

Got tired of the cluttered main menu? Need a more useful ingame menu? Hate the stylized font but you don't want to install a new font? Want the ability to see your custom menu background images better? Tired of remembering developer commands and want it all on a single screen?

This mod may be for you! If you do like this, check out "Minimalistic Gameplay Panels" and "Minimalistic HUD"

This mod replaces the cluttered main menu and ingame pause menus with a minimal menu. Other Menus such as settings, achievements, "Create game", ect. have also been modified. The loadingscreen and transition screen have also now been slimmed as far as it could go

Important:

This Hud is made for 4k 16:9 (3840x2160). Some menus are built to use the whole width. Therefore this will not be suitable for smaller aspect ratios. Most text uses "Trade Gothic Bold" as a font. Swapping it out might break the fonts.

WARNING! Manual edits required!

This mod changes l4d360uischeme.res! (Colors, fonts, styles) In order to see the changes, you must swap resolutions! Add the following to your autoexec.cfg:

//first changing res to a SMALLER 16:9 res, then wait a bit.

// now changing to your larger, native 16:9

//the 1 at the end means "Windowed". 0 is fullscreen.

Rayman's Mutation mod Compatibility

This Menu allows you to load Rayman's Mutations, but You must edit the loadorder of the addons to avoid conflicts! Go to

Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2

and open up addonlist.txt Look for the line that contains

"workshop\121070254.vpk"		"1"

and move that to the VERY BOTTOM of the list, (or at least make that 3032403531 is above 121070254!
