E-PROTO - Hornet

Get your fly scarf on, we're going back into the air! E-PROTO's plane development hasn't stopped, instead a new plane has come out of the garage. I'd like to introduce you to the new E-PROTO 'Hornet'! A fighter plane with unique personality.

After releasing the E-PROTO 'Wasp', it became clear to me how the plane works in different situations, e.g. dogfighting, agility movements. And I found out that it lacks at some points, not able to compete with other fighter planes currently on the workshop. Hence the production started on a new fighter plane, built from the ground up, fixing everything that the E-PROTO 'Wasp' didn't have or couldn't do. You'll find a new sleek body on the E-PROTO 'Hornet', with less weight than the Wasp. The wings have been revised to longer, more effective wings which still turn fully, although limited and complimented by smaller flaps on the ends of the wings. The tail wing has been completely redone, with a smaller tail than the Wasp, but more effective since it's not angled and higher placed. The rotor blades have also been revised, larger and more better looking.

The main body is plastic material, tail wing is also plastic, although the main wings are foam together with the details on the plane, to still add more detail but not without too much weight being added. Just like the Wasp, the landing gear can be removed by pressing the middle mouse button, since yes.. Who needs to land anyway? Wings contain beacon lights and headlights, be sure to look in the night, it's a beauty!

Now the most important part, weapons.. And the Hornet has the weapons you'll need for effective combat. It's loaded with two small machineguns, and two larger automatic guns, to destroy even the more harder material. (Let's just not start about tungsten, that's still a mess)
