The Land Rover Defender is a long-running British offroad utility truck.
The Defender is a very capable offroad vehicle, sporting front and rear solid axles, a locking center differential, full time 4WD, and good ground clearance.
My Brick Rigs rendition is as close as I could get it to the real thing. It has a working rear solid axle, although the front end still uses the regular independent axle-based suspension. This is because the front end does not have enough room to fit the 3-block tall piston actuators needed to simulate the springs.
It is fairly capable offroad, and is good at climbing uneven slopes. Ground clearance is good (while looking reasonable), and the solid rear axle helps keep both rear tires planted on the ground. It sacrifices high-speed on-road performance, however. Caution is advised when taking turns as the truck is prone to flip if you don't slow down.
