1999 International 4900 Dump Truck

In 1989, International revamped their S-series line of trucks and brought them up to then-modern standards. The result was a fleet of truck models that would continue to be produced into the 2000s and served as an iconic modern medium/heavy duty truck. The 4700 and 4900 trucks served as the medium duty models, while the 8100 was the heavy duty version. The same design was also used for the 3800 bus chassis, which stayed in production even longer and saw almost ubiquitous use as a school bus chassis. The usage of the Navistar DT class of engines was common.

This Brick Rigs rendition of the 4900 6x4 chassis comes with a dump upfit. The model has a plethora of details, including a fully-detailed 300HP Navistar DT530 diesel engine, 6x4 drivetrain with a detailed beam axle in the front and an animated driveshaft leading to tandem leaf-sprung rear solid axles. The truck has a somewhat detailed interior, with guages and a shifter. The dump body is fully-functional and features a moving hydraulic system, as well as animated mud flaps. The truck has handled the Desert map road repair / rock haul mission just fine, and is generally pretty stable to drive.

The hood and dump body open in Alt Mode, with the View Pitch and Pitch axis respectively. The cab doors are manual.
