After Wrought Iron fell on some shortcomings, the budget ran pretty low. As a result, technology has continued to "roll back the clock."

Introducing the Steam-Poc series! Note that this is a DISARMED vehicle, meaning it has no weaponry. Vehicles of this series will likely replace the Wrought Irons, but will definitely have weaponry. The submarine just burnt out our funds is all...

It runs on the same principle as the Mallard steam locomotive, using extremely high pressure with a speedy release valve to push down its cylinders, but this time it's more like a normal car engine. Steam power is actually safer than gasoline, since there is no fire to spread afterwards, and the tank is thick enough titanium in the rear to not detonate even when shot. While steam is not known for its top speed, its torque more than makes up for it. Trains like the Mallard were capable of accelerating rather quickly, at times even faster than diesel counterparts.

If it can push a steam locomotive weighing 165 tons up to 135 MPH even with a full load of passenger cars and coal, imagine how fast you can push a small truck with the power of vapor.

Oh, the industrialists would be proud...
