Wartburg 353W Tourist "SMH"

First a big thank you to my esteemed friend kleinAPFELemma or Jan, without whose Wartburg base this vehicle could not have been created.

But what is that? A Wartburg 353W Tourist SMH ? Wartburg? Have I heard before, but SMH ? What is that supposed to be. Then let me explain you that, little Timmi. :D The base for these special vehicle is an ordinary Wartburg 353W Tourist. Something like emergency doctors were not an invention of the West, something like that existed in the GDR too. The SMH . " S chnelle M edizinische H ilfe" The F ast M edical H elp. Equipped with everything important, such as a stretcher instead of the back seat and the trunk, oxygenation, first aid kits, infusions to a defibrillator. Also included a signal system to the vehicle.

Otherwise, you already know all the details about the Wartburg, little Timmi. But let me explain to you one more time. :D

It has a powerful 3 cylinder 2-stroke engine with 50hp and reaches 100kmh / 60mp / h in 12 seconds. And with a top speed of over 130 km / h, he was also really fast on the way to the hospital. It was built in Eisenach in the former GDR between 1966 and 1989, in the former BMW plant. And no, dear Timmi, stop asking, it's not a Trabant Dragster. :D
