NASCAR Whelen Modified Revised

On January 28, 2018, one of my very first vehicles was uploaded. It was a Whelen Modified, however the actual build turned out a lot more similar to a dirt modified than a regular track-bound car. With that being said, I decided it was time to revisit the machine and bring some new light to an old track demon.

Using just 284 bricks, this new Whelen Modified has even fewer pieces than the original (339 Bricks), but even more detail using many modern techniques that were not possible for me back in the day, such as scalable phase shifting and bounce reduction.

The new car is more realistic than ever before, with genuine rear wheel drive and physics-oriented super slick tires. It accelerates rather quickly for a RWD, and turns on an absolute dime, but can also begin a controlled drift at a moment's notice if the throttle is pressed down too hard around a turn. It drives straight like an arrow, and only slides when you want it to.

One word of caution though is that this is supposed to reflect EXACTLY what a real Whelen is like. The true car is basically a frame, an engine, four tires, a seat, and a shell about as thick as cardboard. No safety systems really other than the car's own crumple zones, and traction control just does not exist within the vehicle. I strongly advise practicing on different types of road before usage, whether it be desert streets, city cement, or a custom track surface.
