[b] ▷ German heavy tank of the final period of world war II. It was mass-produced from March 1944 until the end of the war. Just released 489 series of tanks.This is the last mass-produced heavy tank of Nazi Germany. Thanks to powerful 88-mm gun was capable effectively to infect fire all tanks, used in world war II anti-Hitler coalition, within distance there is direct shot being fired. Thick sheets of armor, located at high angles of inclination, provided the tank with very high protection against most anti-tank weapons of the time. However, the high weight and insufficient engine power led to poor driving performance and overall low reliability of the "Tiger II".
